Paul Coby has since 2001 been successively the first Group CIO of British Airways, the John Lewis Partnership, Johnson Matthey and now Persimmon Homes.
He is a non-executive board member of Metro Bank and has been a NED on the boards of Virgin Money and Pets at Home, chair of SITA (the international telecommunications and software solutions company) and an adviser to AND Digital (a digital accelerator).
He is also a member of the Board of Governors of More House School for boys with learning and language based difficulties, and the Board of Trustees MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology).
Paul speaks at tech conferences and is a Contributing Editor at HotTopics, the leading global C-suite community. He is a member of the Gartner Research Board non-executive directors’ forum.
Paul has also published a groundbreaking military history book on Forts and Roman Strategy (Pen & Sword, 2022). He is a keen, although not very expert railway modeler.
